My Journey Before Primal Bod
Back in September of 2022, I did four months of the 3:4 method of fasting —meaning I wasn’t eating for three days out of the week. It was hard, exhausting, and unsustainable. While I lost 20 pounds, I felt weak, drained, and miserable. Then, the following summer, I started to regain the weight I had lost.
Still determined, I tried another round of 3:4 fasting in September 2023, but this time, nothing worked. I spent four months fasting again, only to see no results. Frustrated, I started experimenting with different approaches—things I had heard might work, from Gary Brecka’s methods to the Slow Carb Diet—but again, the scale wouldn’t budge.
By July 2024, I decided to try carnivore—again, no results. At this point, I started to believe something was wrong with me. I felt stuck, broken, and frustrated with my body.
Then, I came across Primal Bod through Candi’s Reels on Facebook, and something clicked. It was the first program that actually made sense—it aligned with what I had already believed about ancestral health, but it finally put everything together in a way that worked.
I joined the 12-week program, and it was a game-changer. I lost 20 pounds in 12 weeks, and as of March, I am down 34 pounds and 19 inches. And the best part? I’m still losing weight, and I feel stronger than ever.
